| Twin River Valley Basketball Conference Rules For Boys & Girls |
| 1. |
League commitments must be made by September 25th for girls
and December 1st for boys so that schedules can be developed. (click on registration
tab) |
| 2. |
Actual games begin the third weekend of October for girls and end before the
Christmas holiday with the conference tournament. For boys, the actual games begin
the first weekend of January and end the first weekend in March with the conference
tournament. Games will be scheduled on Saturdays/Sundays with input from coaches. No
games before 1:00 PM on Sundays. Weekdays should be used as a last resort. |
| 3. |
All teams must register. Click on the “Register” tab for the registration form.
Teams must submit a minimum of five dates for home games and are encouraged to list
as many as possible. |
| 4. |
ALL players must live in and/or be enrolled in the school district for which
they play. League officials MUST approve any exceptions to this. |

a. |
players registered in the Twin River league may play for one Twin River league team
only with the following exception: 5th/6th/7th graders may play on one additional Twin
River league team at a higher grade level. NO player can play in a grade level below
his or her current grade level. League directors must approve any exceptions. |

b. |
while the Twin River league has no rules governing the participation of players in
other leagues/sports activities, teams are forewarned that missing players due to other
leagues/sports is NOT grounds for rescheduling. |
| 5. |
The league entry fee is $200 PLUS a $50 refundable deposit
(total of $250) which MUST be paid by October 15th for girls and January 1st
for boys. A $50 discount is available to teams paying prior to the deadline.
A completed roster must accompany team fees (click here for a roster form).

Coaches are responsible for reading/knowing ALL league rules. |
| 7. |
Coaches will be given a log-in to access the website to post scores
and to gain coaches’ information. |
| 8. |
Conference standings will be emailed weekly. |
| 9. |
Communication with league commissioners can be
made through the “Contact Info” tab on the website. |
